Long Covid 观后感
From the video, I acquired some new knowledge about Covid-19. To be honest, I haven’t realized the diverse sequelae (‘ongoing symptomatic COVID19’ and ‘postCOVID19 symptom’) such as anosmia and hyposmia, which may not kill people, but can negatively affect people’s quality of life, even driving people mad.
Some days ago, I read an interesting news report called ‘New versions of Omicron are Masters of immune evasion’. The author claimed that Omicron & its subvariants should be called SARS-3 due to its immunological profile. Since the virus has been changing all the time, I suppose it’s necessary for us to update our insight into the disease. I admit there is no perfect policy making everyone satisfied and fighting against the war successfully at the same time. But our policies should try to strike a balance—protecting most people’s health and exerting the least undesirable influence on people’s daily life.
COVID-19 has made a huge difference to the whole world. I tend to realize the importance of living in the moment, which is the most thought-provoking lesson l learn. We cannot predict future or accident, which will occur first. However, we can leave least regret today. If we want to pursue further education, browse relevant information or prepare for the exam right now. If we really miss an old friend, send a Wechat message or hang out with him or her right now. Don’t hesitate or worry too much. Also, having a healthy and active lifestyle helps us build a strong body. It’s worthwhile to spend several hours on sports—a long-term investment in ourselves.
